Install Licentra Bundle
This guide walks you through installing the Licentra SuiteApp bundle in your NetSuite environment. The bundle contains all necessary components for Licentra integration.
What You'll Install
The Licentra SuiteApp bundle includes:
- Custom Records - For storing configuration and license data
- Scripts - For API communication and license validation
- Pages - License Viewer and management interfaces
- Permissions - Role-based access controls
Before You Begin
Ensure you have completed the Prerequisites checklist:
- ✅ NetSuite Administrator permissions
- ✅ Access to SuiteBundler
- ✅ Scheduled installation window (if needed)
Installation Steps
Step 1: Access SuiteBundler
- Log into your NetSuite account
- Navigate to:
Customization > SuiteBundler > Search and Install Bundles - Wait for the page to load completely
Step 2: Search for Licentra Bundle
- Locate the search bar on the "Search & Install Bundles" page
- Enter search term:
Licentra - Look for the bundle with these details:
- Bundle Name: Licentra
- Bundle ID: 571165
- Publisher: BringIT (Products) Production
- Status: Available for installation
Search Tips: If the bundle doesn't appear, try searching for "BringIT" or "571165" instead.
Step 3: Review Bundle Details
- Click on the Licentra bundle link
- Review the bundle information:
- Bundle description and features
- Version information
- Dependencies (if any)
- Installation requirements
Step 4: Initiate Installation
- Click the "Install" button
- Review the installation confirmation dialog
- Click "OK" to proceed with installation
Installation Time: The bundle installation typically takes 5-10 minutes. You'll receive a confirmation email when complete.
Step 5: Monitor Installation Progress
- Stay on the installation page or check your email
- Look for installation status updates
- Wait for completion confirmation
Installation Verification
Check Installation Status
After installation completes:
- Go to:
Customization > SuiteBundler > Search and Install Bundles - Search for "Licentra" again
- Verify status shows: "Installed" or "Active"
Verify Bundle Components
Check that the following are now available:
- Setup > Company > Licentra Config - Configuration records
- Setup > Company > Licentra License Viewer - License management page
- Setup > Company > API Secrets - API secret management (if not already available)
Post-Installation Setup
Once the bundle is installed:
- Configure Licentra Settings - Set up the connection
- Create API Secret - Store your license credentials
- Validate Configuration - Test the integration
Troubleshooting Installation Issues
Bundle Not Found
Possible Causes:
- Incorrect search terms
- Bundle not available for your NetSuite version
- Network connectivity issues
Solutions:
- Try searching for "BringIT" or "571165"
- Contact your Licentra administrator
- Check with NetSuite support
Installation Fails
